DRESS

Just so everyone is on the same page here, we're going for a pretty casual approach to this whole affair. The ceremony will be short and sweet, it's the party that is the focus. Keep in mind that this is an outdoor event in the late afternoon in July. Dress nicely but keep it light. We don't want anyone collapsing from heat exhaustion in their fancy suit. Oh, and bring a bathing suit if you'd like. The pool is small but refreshing on a hot summer day. We're almost two weeks away now, we hope you're as excited as we are. See you soon friends.

REGISTRY

We've had some people ask if we were registered anywhere. We've got enough pots, pans, and dish towels to last us two lifetimes so instead of starting a registry somewhere we decided to start a Honeyfund site which lets you help us to have a wonderful honeymoon in Costa Rica and get some work done on our house. We're being completely serious when we say we really don't NEED anything, but I know a lot of people don't want to come empty handed so Home Depot gift cards would be truly treasured. The link to our Honeyfund site is www.honeyfund.com/wedding/mikeandjulie

CAMPING?

If any of you would like to spend the weekend camping with us near the farm, our neighbor, Mitch, has been gracious enough to allow us the pleasure of using his property alongside the James River. It's about a 3/4 mile walk to the wedding or a 1 1/2 mile drive. We'll be BBQing, swimming, and having fun, so if you're into that, let us know so we can plan for the proper number of people. BYOTent.

HOTEL INFORMATION

We have blocked out rooms at the Monticello Holiday Inn. The address is 1200 5th Street SW, Charlottesville, VA 22092. The phone number is 434-977-5100. Tell them you are with the Benoit/Riley Wedding and use this code: BRW to get the discounted rate. They would only let us block out ten rooms at a time so if you call and there are no more rooms left, let us know and we will block out some more.
